Mr. Ralph David Foster, age 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his home. Mr. Foster was born on October 26, 1948 in Copperhill, TN to the late James Lowell Foster and Pauline Patterson Foster. He worked as a boilermaker for Tennessee Chemical Company. He was a 30 year steward of Hipps Chapel Church and was a Sunday School teacher for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Foster. He is survived by his wife, Zaba F. Foster of Blue Ridge; son, Chris Foster of the Higdon community; daughter and son-in-law, Zaba Ashley Davis and Malcom Davis of Blue Ridge; brother, Danny Foster of Morganton; sister, Nancy Foster of McCaysville; and two grandchildren, Laura Davis and N.keisha Davis. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 12 noon from Hipps Chapel Church with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Pallbearers were Tommy Ash, Billy Cantrell, Hunter Patterson, Jacob Queen, Doyle Patterson, and Danny Patterson. Interment followed in Hipps Chapel Cemetery.
