Phyllis Morrow Duggan, age 72 of Turtletown, TN gained her heavenly reward on Saturday, March 12, 2022. She was born on March 30, 1949 in Copperhill, TN to the late Creed and Alene Taylor Morrow. Phyllis was a beloved and caring wife, mother, sister and Nana. She had a zeal for life with her laugh and radiant sense of humor that was winsome. Phyllis worked for many years as a nurse and loved her work. She was a member of the Turtletown Missionary Baptist Church from the age of 10. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Duggan; sister, Barbara Coker and nephew, Dennis Cardin. Phyllis is survived by three daughters, Melissa Argyle of the home, Tamala (Roger) Morrow of Murphy, NC and Dana (Brett) Sisson of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Matthew (Karissa) Teague, Adam Teague and Logan Sisson; great-grandson, Maverick Teague; sisters, Gloria Rice of Charlotte, NC and Karen (Jim) Collis of Copperhill, TN; brother, Dwight (Jane) Morrow of Woodstock, GA; many nieces and nephews also survived. A private funeral service will be held with interment to follow in the Turtletown Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charles Cheathem officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Pallbearers will be Matthew Teague, Adam Teague, Logan Sisson, Chris Collis, Jeremy Collis and Jason Collis.
