Phillip Wayne Farmer, age 64, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on May 2, 2022 in McDonough, GA. He was born in Atlanta, GA on April 6, 1958. Phillip was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was retired from Frito-Lay and had been an active member of Temple Baptist Church serving in several capacities. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan. Phillip was preceded in death by his two wives; Vicky Farmer and Melanie Farmer; and his mother, Maudean Patterson Farmer. Survivors include his children, Erin Farmer of Eustis, FL and Jeff and wife Leah Farmer of Jefferson, GA; father, Gilliam Farmer of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Aubrey and Skylar Farmer; step children and their spouses, Misty Kite and Rodney and Sherri Kite; step grandchildren Logan Powers, Victoria Kite and Callie Kite; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Barry Keen of McDonough, GA and Betsy and Bill Brown of Locust Grove, GA; nieces and nephews, Joshua Keen, Katie and Chris McNeil, B.J. and Bethany Brown, Brandon Brown, Ben Brown, and Abigail Brown; great nieces and nephews, Julian, Amanda, Christian, Bradlee, Harper, Tanner and Charlotte. Memorial services were conducted on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Roger Beck officiating.
