Peter James Shannon, age 61, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1961, in Minneapolis, MN, to Clarence Shannon and Ida Zoller Shannon. He worked for many years as a truck driver. Peter loved his children beyond all measure and his grandchildren were the light of his eyes. He was loved and respected by all who came to know him and would do anything he could to help anyone that was in need.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Shannon.

Peter is survived by his wife, Lori Shannon; children, Joshua Shannon, Christina Shannon, Jeremy Shannon, and Robert Shannon; grandchildren, Marlina Hughes, Angela Hughes, Desiree Hughes, Giovanni Hughes, Julie Shannon, Jeremy Shannon, Jr., Joshua Luzaro, and Andrew Luzaro; mother, Ida Shannon; siblings, Paul Shannon, Joel Shannon, David Shannon, Phillip Shannon, and Lydia Coldwell; mother-in-law, Mary McKiness; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leann and Dan Robertson; and several other family members.
