Nancy Pauline Ausburn, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Ausburn was born in Fannin County, GA on September 14, 1932 to the late Floyd T. Davenport and Stella Jones Davenport. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and worked as a machine operator for Levi Strauss. Mrs. Ausburn was active in the operation of Blue Ridge Cannery and in getting Levi Leap grants to keep the cannery open for the community. She was preceded in death by her husband William Roy Ausburn.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy Ausburn Kinman (David) of Blue Ridge, GA; special son and daughter, Thomas Graham and Sandy Foster; brothers, Ira (Barbara) Davenport of Epworth, GA, Arvil (Jo Ann) Hammond, IN; sister, Pat (Aubrey) Thomas; grandchildren, Matthew, Preston and Skylar Kinman.
Memorial services were conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from the Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Delmar Davenport, Rev. Denise B. Caldwell, Rev. David McLendon and Rev. Claude Mathis officiating. Music was provided by Denise Caldwell. Papa Jack Bryson, and Denise Tallent. Interment followed in the Lebanon Church Cemetery.
