Paula Jane Womble, age 69, of Farner passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Paula was born on December 11, 1956 in Cleveland, TN to Edward Worthy and Willie Jean Young Worthy. She worked for twenty-five years as a seamstress for ADH Manufacturing. Paula was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her mother, children, and grandchildren. Paula is preceded in death by her husband, James Samuel Womble; father, Edward Worthy; sister, Debbie Hicks; grandchildren, Riley Mason and Leaira Key; nephew, Jason Baldwin; and son-in-law, Adam Taylor.

She is survived by her mother, Willie Worthy; daughter, Hope Taylor; son, Shawn Key; grandchildren, Hunter Graves, Dakota (Arianna) Key, Allie Davis, Kristin Graves, Benjamin Key, and Mason Key; great-grandchildren, Robbie Key and Emma Mason; niece, Krystal (Stanley) Minnick; special friend, Faye Taylor; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were conducted on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Farner Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Pallbearers were Dakota Key, Benjamin Key, Mason Key, Shawn Key, Tony Minnick, and Hunter Graves. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Allen and Wesley Mason.
