Paul Pangborn, age 74, of Copperhill, TN passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in the Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN. He was born on August 4, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late David Smith Pangborn and Helen Renn Pangborn. He was a retired supervisor journeyman for Florida Power and Light Company. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed helping others and inevitably always had a smile on his face while doing for others. He was an excellent electrician, and could build virtually anything. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the 9th Infantry Division. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Lee Pangborn. Survivors are his wife of thirty-nine years, June Pangborn of Copperhill, TN; sons, Robert Thomas Pangborn (Ann Bridget) of Machnesnay Park, IL, Matthew Paul Pangborn of Coconut Creek, FL; grandchildren, Conor Kelly, Jordyn Pangborn and Andrew Pangborn; brothers Jerry Pangborn (Gail) of Ramona, CA, John Pangborn (Ellen) of Union Beach, NJ and Steven Pangborn (Cheryl) of Richmond Hill, GA and sister, Sharon Root of Holt, MI. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Military honors were provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment followed on March 15, 2021 from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Snack in a Backpack, P.O.
