Patsy Postell, age 77, of Turtletown, TN passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 in the Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Born in Ducktown, TN she was the daughter of the late Joseph Allen and Eva Sutton Hedden. She had worked as a Nurses Aid for over twenty years for the Life Care Center in Cleveland, TN and also for the Blue Ridge Health Care. Mrs. Postell was a member of Mine City Baptist Church but attended Salem #2 Baptist Church with her husband. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Nicholson Hughes. Survivors include her husband J.L. Postell of Ducktown, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Don Hudson of Brooklet, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Rachel Postell also of Brooklet, GA; two step sons; one step daughter; six grandchildren, Makayla Postell, Tucker Postell, Chad McDougal, Christian Moody, Jennifer Oliver and Michael Hughes; two great grandchildren, Chance and Patience Oliver; several nieces and nephews; eleven step grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday March 24, at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Mann officiating. Pallbearers were Stan Bojanowski, Zack Bojanowski, Kenny Martin, Tony Rhodes, Frank Boyles and Shad Fowler. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery.
