Patricia Lee "Trish" Vessell, age 64, of Copperhill, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in Chattanooga. She was born on August 8, 1961, in Atlanta, to the late Thomas Jefferson Vessell and Sarah Francis Carter Vessell. She was a member of Living By Faith Ministries. Trish is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Hall; and nephew, David Manuel.

Trish is survived by her sisters, Martha (Wade) Payne and Gail Hall; nieces and nephews, Amy Swartz, Henry Hall, Buck Hall, Donnie Manuel, Meredith Marie Martinez ,and Missy Sheirling; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ivy Nicole Link (Dade Parris), Harley Logan Rich, Amanda Diane Payne, Raven Ketchens, and Charles Russell Johnson; and great-great-niece, Indie Faye Parris.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Shane Dye officiating. Interment will follow in the Hembree Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harley Rich, Dade Parris, Shayne Norris, Herman Steven Carter, Chris Timpson, Henry Hall, and Ben Carter. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2026, at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
