Patricia Mary Macklin, 84, a resident of Blue Ridge, GA, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Sonshine Manor Personal Care Home in Blairsville, GA. Born in Elyria, OH, she was the daughter of the late Russell William Obitts and Marion Veronica Maslyck Obitts. With a dedicated career spanning over 20 years, Mrs. Macklin served as a nurse, bringing comfort and care to countless individuals. She held a strong faith as a devout Catholic throughout her life. Mrs. Macklin was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick "Mac" Macklin and son, Lewis T. Kirksey, as well as her sisters, Janet Obitts Otto and Kathleen Obitts Benoit.

She is survived by her brother John "Jack" Obitts of Ponce de Leon, FL; and cousin, Brian Maslyck of Panama City, FL.

Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, officiated by Father John Conway. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery.
