Patricia Ann Dexter, age 68, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on February 14, 2022 in Gainesville, GA. She was born in Hall County, GA to the late William Herschel and Elma Lee Parker Gilreath. She worked for a number of years for American Uniform as seamstress and later worked as a caretaker for the elderly. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church but had most recently attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Dexter was an avid reader. Survivors include her spouse, Thomas Nichols; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Bruce Borders of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters and one brother-in-law, Kathleen Kirkland of Blue Ridge, GA, Ina Bell Brawley of Morganton, GA and Brenda and Archie Farmer of Cleveland, TN; several nieces and nephews; and canine grand furbaby, Coco. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Eddie Borders officiating. Music was provided by the Dixie Aires. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Bruce Borders, Ricky Brawley, Jeff Farmer, Mike Nichols, and Archie Farmer.
