Pamela Karen Ritter, age 56, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Chattanooga. She was born on November 12, 1966, in Cleveland, to the late James Anthony Payne and Rachel Ann Henson. Pam was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church. She worked as a teacher for the Fannin County School System. Pam was a loving wife, mother, and "mimi." She had a spirit that no one could meet and touched numerous lives.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Herman and Elizabeth Henson; and uncle, Michael Seabolt.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Rev. Jimmy Ritter; son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Tiffany Ritter; daughter and son-in-law, Haley and Neil Riley; grandchildren, Lillie Ritter and Ritter Riley; brothers, Tony (Tracy) Payne and Michael Payne; half-brother, Nick Coleman; niece, MaKayla Payne; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. Stanley and Louise Ritter; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Tina Ritter; and numerous cousins, other family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Stevie O'Neal officiating. Music will be provided by Ivy Bice and Diana Odom. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Payne, Michael Payne, Kenny Stuart, Ken Stuart, James Thomas, and Robert Barker.
