Mrs. Pamela McDaris Mashburn, age 57, of Jasper, GA, passed away on July 6, 2020 in Jasper, GA. She was born in Copperhill, TN, to the late Joseph Robert and Sharon Jane Long McDaris. Pamela was retired from the Cobb and Douglas County Health Department after many years of service. She was also a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church. Also preceding her in death is one brother, Joey McDaris. Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Chris Mashburn of Jasper, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kim McDaris of Marietta, GA; sister, Kellie McDaris of Jasper, GA; nieces and nephews, Jennifer McDaris Ray and husband Sherman, Josh McDaris, Aubrie McDaris and Ryan Eckert; great nieces and nephews, Thatcher McDaris and Lexi McDaris; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. A memorial service was conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating.
