Mr. Norman R.C. Dillard, age 86, of Copperhill, TN passed away on June 30, 2023 in the Life Care Center of Cleveland, TN. He was born in Polk County on March 23, 1937 to the late John and Lizzie Lucinda Jane Carter Dillard. He loved the Lord greatly with his deep Baptist faith. Norman had worked for fifty years as an Upholster. He enjoyed riding horses, working in his yard and fellowship with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Frances Rapier Dillard; daughter, Amy Lynette Dillard; and siblings, Theda Simonds, Eugene Dillard and Rita Sue Dillard.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Dillard Allen of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Samantha Erin Allen, Jonathan Hunter Gregory, Megan Elisabeth Allen, Jacob Evin Allen; great grandchildren, Sydney Lyla Hughes, Eden Carolina Hughes, Kiara Elisabeth Vasquez and Kai Fortunato Vasquez; brother and sister-in-law, Cal and Jean Dillard of Copperhill, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jacob Allen, Joshua Barker, Christopher Barker, Melvin Hicks, Isaac Yang and Joel McGee. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Troy Dillard, John Simonds, Clifford Simonds and Tommy Carter.
