Mr. Norman Eugene Brand, age 76, of Williamson, Ga., died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Spaulding Regional Hospital in Griffin, Ga. He was a native of Cobb County, Ga., son of the late Willie A. Brand and Mozelle Brockman Brand. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Ann Ray Brand. He Served in the Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Beverly Brand of Williamson, Ga., two sisters, Rochell Jones of Cleveland, Ga., and Barbara Haxton of Commerce, Ga., one granddaughter Billie Brand and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service were conducted at Akins Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Interment was in the Harmony Cemetery with full military honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
