Norman Jeffrey Bell, age 59, of Ducktown, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 24, 1964, in Copperhill to the late Norman Harrison Bell and Carolyn Jeannette Henson Bell. Norman was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Murphy.

Norman is survived by his wife, Linda R. Bell; son, Joshua Aaron Bell; aunts and uncles, Irene and Ronnie Akins, Gene and Maude Henson, Homer Henson, Herman and Wanda Bell of Mineral Bluff, Marjorie Indelagto of Marietta, GA, and Harmon and Glenda Bell of Atlanta, GA; fur baby, Jumper; and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Donald Padgett officiating. Music will be provided by Linda Padgett and Rose Jones. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Green, Phillip Bell, Steve Whitener, Jamie Akins, and Ronnie Akins. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Bell and Susan Workman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help defray final expenses.
