Norma Lee Gibson, age 84, of Turtletown, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Norma was born on September 16, 1941, in Turtletown to the late Clemer Padgett and Elsie Burger Padgett. She was a talented and creative woman who found great joy in crafting. Over the years, she enjoyed jewelry making, sewing, knitting, crocheting, wood carving, and painting. Norma also loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, and could often be found enjoying one of her favorite pastimes, yard selling.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Leon Gibson; her son, Victor "Vic" Gibson; and her brother, Dennis "Bud" Padgett.

She is survived by her grandson, Nicholas Gibson; daughter-in-law, Denette Gibson; and sister, Mary Millholland.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel, with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Treewitt Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Cheek, Garryn Cheek, David Padgett, Jamey Taylor, and Ronald Martin. Dwight Ingle will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home prior to the service, Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
