Mrs. Nora Florence Kilpatrick, age 64 of Marietta, GA passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2008 at her home. Born in Fannin County, GA she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Bonnie Godfrey Queen. As a loving wife, mother and grandmother she was of the Baptist Faith. She was a lifetime homemaker and Corporate Secretary of S.J. Kilpatrick Construction Company, INC. Survivors include her husband of forty four years, S.J. Kilpatrick of the home; son, Stacy Kilpatrick of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Mackenzie Kilpatrick, Riley Kilpatrick and Davis Kilpatrick; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Robert Arp of McCaysville; brother-in-law, Thomas Seabolt of McCaysville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Friday March 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Godfrey officiating. Music was provided by Jimmy Jones. Interment followed in the Kingtown Baptist Church cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Stacy Kilpatrick, Thomas Aaron Seabolt, Rodney Arp, Terry Arp, Doug Arp and Kent Arp.
