Mrs. Nola Jane Davis Lockmiller, age 91, of Pickens, SC, formerly of Fannin County, GA, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010. Mrs. Lockmiller was born on in Fannin County, GA on August 10, 1918 to the late George W. Davis and Nora Millsaps Davis. She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Robert Lockmiller, a daughter, Donna Johnston; a brother, Warren Davis; and a sister, Willine Patterson. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Robert A. Lockmiller of Pickens, SC, Jim and Carol Earley of Walla Walla, Washington, and Billy Earley of Cottage Grove, Oregon; stepdaughter, Sally Barber of Los Angeles, California; brothers, Herman Davis of Ormond Beach, FL, Curtis Davis of Cherry Log, GA, Lee Davis of Blue Ridge, and William Davis of Hiram, GA; sisters, Myrtle Ash of Blue Ridge, Reathel Bryan of Blue Ridge, and Pauline Raper of Farner, TN; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music was by Bryan Huffman. Pallbearers were Charlie Lockmiller, Matthew Walker, Daniel Walker, Ronnie Davis, Warren Davis, and Jessie Millsaps. Interment followed in Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.
