Mrs. Nina Breeden, age 98, of Hampton, GA passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Breeden was born on April 23, 1913 to the late David Shell and Aurora Grace Buchanan Shell. She worked as a receptionist for Doxol Gas for 20 years and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sons, Guy Breeden, Roger Breeden, and Tony Breeden; a grandson, Mike Breeden; and brothers and sisters, Charlie Shell, Ed Shell, Iva Daves, Willie McClure, Ruby Ellis, Jewell Jones, and Velma Shell. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Anne Breeden; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Panter and Harold Mobley, Evelyn and Fred Grizzle, Linda and Jerry Arp, and Paulette and Ronnie Twiggs; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; daugher-in-law, Martha Breeden. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Danny Queen and Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music will be by Bridget Anderson. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Twiggs, Joe Breeden, Doug Grizzle, David Arp, Dean Breeden, and Matthew Watkins. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
