Mrs. Nelle M. Campbell, age 85, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Campbell was born in Fannin County, GA on October 12, 1928. She was a member of O'Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Ant Davenport and Naomi Curbow Davenport; sister, Monda Mull; brother, Dewitt Davenport; and an infant brother, Jennings Davenport. She is survived by her husband, Hoyt Campbell of Blue Ridge; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Susan Campbell of Blue Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Charles Bradburn of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Kimberly Brannon and Ryan Campbell; great grandchildren, Lexus Brannon, Cohutta Brannon, and Mukinzee Brannon. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from O'Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Cantrell, Rev. Max Curtis, and Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Music was by O'Zion Church Choir. Pallbearers were be Ryan Campbell, Timmy Brannon, Michael Beaver, Fred vonder Lage, Harold Plumley, Johnny Hughes, Richard Long, and Tommy Herendon. Honorary pallbearers were Ernest Long, James McGill, Hubert Stewart, and Michael Pope. Interment follow in O'Zion Church Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
