Mrs. Nancy Simmons, age 57, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Simmons was born in Auburn, NY on May 7, 1965. She worked in management at M.S. Sparkles and later was Chief Financial Officer of Heidelberg Medical. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond McNelley and her grandparents Harold and Carrie Dickinson.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Mark Simmons III of Mineral Bluff; children, Jamie Kasson, Joshua Simmons, and Daniel Simmons, all of Mineral Bluff; her mother, Sharon McNelley of Murphy, NC; aunt, Diane Dickinson of Bryson City, NC; three sisters; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel. Interment followed in New Liberty Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 3:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family online at akinscobb.com.
