IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy J.
Harris
February 21, 1942 – October 21, 2023
Nancy left this world early on the morning of October 21, 2023, from natural causes. She was the only child of J.T. and Lillian B. Jones. Her husband, Tommy R. Harris, also predeceases her.
Nancy leaves behind two sons, Joseph R. Dukes and David "Dave" L. Harris (wife Amber), one daughter, Kelli S. Bonine (husband Paul), one granddaughter, Kaitlyn B. Daley, and a host of friends and extended family members worldwide that she cherished and loved very much.
Nancy was a proud Bremen Blue Devil and graduated with the class of 1959. She was lucky to have had a husband that promised to show her the world and was able to travel to many countries and experience living in Australia which was on her "bucket list." Nancy enjoyed many activities over the years. She played Bridge with a wonderful group of ladies; bowled on several leagues in Australia, Texas, and Georgia; and enjoyed her time and duties with the local chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy. Genealogy was a passion as Nancy loved her family so much and wanted to know more about her ancestral roots and encouraged others to do the same. She came from two of the largest families at one time in Polk and Carroll Counties and loved every one of them wholeheartedly.
Nancy's witty "Southern Charm" will definitely be missed by all of those who loved and cherished her.
