Nancy Roberta Hayes Hamby, age 57, of Turtletown, TN passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her home. She was born on August 5, 1954 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Willie and Irene Croft Hayes. Nancy was a homemaker and a member of Farner Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Namon Hamby and a brother, Bubby Hayes. She is survived by a son, Phillip Matthew and wife, Tia Hamby of Turtletown, TN; daughters, Tammy Love and Ricky Lefevers of Blue Ridge, GA, Pamela and husband, Billy Rose of Copperhill, TN, Crystal and husband, Ryan Spurling of Ducktown, TN and Amy Hamby of Turtletown, TN; brothers, Eddie Hayes of Chattanooga, TN and David Hayes of Benton, TN; sisters, Dorothy Green of Riceville, TN and Donna Duckworth of Turtletown, TN; eight grandchildren, Andrew Love, Kayla Rose, Brandon Howe, Whitney Howe, Jacob Spurling, Madesyn Hamby, Ryleigh Hamby and Toby Hamby; one great-granddaughter, Jade Love. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Dennis Snow and Rev. Guinn Green officiating. Music was by Clara Reid and Andrea Bateman. Pallbearers were Daryl Tankersley, Hank Hayes, Keith Hamby, William Duckworth, Paul Johnson, Travis Geren and Jacob Hamby. Interment followed in the Riverhill Cemetery.
