Myrtle Danner, age 96, of Copperhill, TN passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. Mrs. Danner was a native of Copperhill and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beulah Dalton Shinpaugh, her husband, Carl Danner, daughter, Sue Carolyn Danner Fenton and a grandson, Melvin Shawn Fenton. She is survived by her son, Bobby Danner of Copperhill, TN; son-in-law, Melvin Fenton of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Alleece Pickelsimer of Copperhill, TN; best friend, Joann Harper; grandchildren, Shannon Fenton Jacoby, Jeremy Danner; great grandchildren, Lacey Kimsey and Conner Jacoby. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 3, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Tom Reed and Danny Shinpaugh officiating. Pallbearers include Randy Pickelsimer, Larry Harper, Scott Suit, Derek Jacoby, Bobby Danner and Nick Jones. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn cemetery.
