Myrtle Alyne Stamey Cruse, age 87, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on April 5, 2021 in the Fannin Regional Hospital. She was born in Morganton, GA, to the late Erastus "Rass" Alonzo and Laura Meadows Stamey. She was retired from Goldkist after more than 20 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to quilt. Mrs. Cruse was the last of her ten siblings. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gary and Nancy Cruse of Copperhill, TN, Randall Cruse of Woodstock, GA, Brenda Cruse, Lynn Cruse both of Covington, GA, Darlene Pittman of Mineral Bluff, GA, Darryl Cruse of Cherry Log, GA and Greg Cruse also of Covington, GA; twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. The family received friends at the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow later in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery.
