Mrs. Kathryn Marie Foley, age 83 of Epworth, GA passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown, TN. She was born on Friday, August 1, 1930 in Prattsville, NY to the late Richard Quinn and Bertha Moore Quinn. Mrs. Foley was a retired guidance counselor from Palm Beach County, FL, Florida Retired Teachers Association and Palm Beach County Counselors Association. She was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church. Mrs. Foley was preceded in death by her husband, Kenan Jerry Foley.Survivors are son, Patrick Fitzharris of Epworth, GA; sister, Jean Melville of Saugerties, NY; several nieces and nephews also survive.A Wake service was held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel. Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Saint Anthony Catholic Church with Father Steve Yander and Father John Conway officiating. Interment in the Foley Family Cemetery, Epworth, GA. Pallbearers were Bobby Mills, Patrick Fitzharris, Rodney Ensley, Patty Melville and Margaret Melville. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements. .
