Motley James William Dilbeck, age 24 of Blue Ridge GA passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born on September 12, 1992 in Dalton, GA. Motley attended Gilmer and Fannin County High Schools. He worked for Pike Electric as a lineman. Motley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn "Cricket" Parks and great-grandmother, Bootsie Dills.Survivors are his son, Ayden Knox Dilbeck; father, William Dilbeck of Blue Ridge, GA; mother, Rhonda Dilbeck of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Marie Parks and Karmanova Goble of Ellijay, GA; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Ruth Dilbeck of Blue Ridge, GA; maternal grandfather, James Donald Parks of Ellijay, GA; paternal great-grandfather, Maynard Dills of Blue Ridge, GA; uncles, Donald Parks of Calhoun, GA, Bill Newton, Johnny and Elaine Cronan, and Kevin and Pearl Dilbeck; cousins, Montana Dilbeck, Dalton and Roxie Ross, Kristy and Eddie Bowen, Hannah Bowen, and April, Cody, Jake and Kaylee Newton; Godfather, Lamar Craig of Ellijay; Godsister, Tiffany Smith of Suches, GA; Ayden's "Big Sister", Kaylee Marie Rymer of Ellijay, GA; and many other family members also survive.Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with fellow lineman, Min. David Mullins officiating. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Weaver, Billy Messer, Tyler Brewer, Donnie Mooney, Jake House, Donald Parks, William Dilbeck, Lamar Craig, Jimmy Depree, Tracy Stephens, Shannon Brown and Hunter Watson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eric Bice, Mike Kendall and Bobby Rhodes. Interment will follow in the Barnes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Min.
