Morgan Ray Dyer, age 52, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Dyer was born in Copperhill, TN on October 21, 1964. He was self-employed as a handyman and was a member of Colwell Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Robin Newberry Dyer of Blue Ridge; a son, Isaac Dyer of Blue Ridge; his parents Betty Galloway Dyer and Wilburn Dyer of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Phillip Dyer of Chatsworth; sister and brothers-in-law, Tammy and James Waters of Dalton, GA and Shannon and Gary Buchanan of Chatsworth; and many other relatives and friends.Funeral services were held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Colwell Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. Music was by Tim Nicholson. Pallbearers were Scott Newberry, Wade Newberry, Isaac Dyer, Daniel Waters, Stephen Waters, and James Waters.
