Jenell A. Zuniga, age 84 of Atlanta, GA passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, in Turtletown, TN. She was born on February 26, 1940, in Copperhill, TN to the late Eugene Adcock and Cora Weaver Adcock. She owned and operated Sylvan Hills Day Nursery from 1972 until the present. Jenell was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA and attended Mine City Baptist Church in Ducktown, TN. She was a mother to everyone. Jenell was the main caretaker and peacemaker in the family with never an unkind word. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and her sisters, Debbie Hensley and Linda Maughan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ector Veto Zuniga.

Survivors are her daughter, Vita Zuniga (Ariel Martinez) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Cruz Martinez, Ava Martinez, Blaze Martinez and Paloma Martinez all of Atlanta, GA; brothers, C.W. Adcock of Turtletown, TN, Joe Adcock of Chatsworth, GA and Randy (Brenda) Adcock of Turtletown, TN and sisters, Linda Maughan (Rev. Bill Maughan) of Turtletown and Debbie Hensley of Turtletown, TN.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Joey Buchanan officiating. Music was by Holly Nelson, Chad Nicholson and Gena Maughan. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blaze Martinez, Sean Carter, Chad Nicholson, Chaz Adcock, David Adcock and Michael Guy. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
