Mary Melissa "Missy" Beaver, age 53, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on November 24, 1967 in Copperhill, to the late J.R. Green and Laura P. Bell Green. She was a member of Hot House Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joshua Shane Green and brother, Ricky Green. Missy is survived by her children and their spouses, Joseph and Jessica Foster, Josh and Andrea Foster, and Savannah Brown; grandchildren, Lakota Foster, Colton Gilliam, and Jasper Foster; siblings and their spouses, Shirley Green, Kenny and Michelle Green, and Kathi (Scott) Johnson. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Housley officiating. Music was provided by Sara Kate Odom and Matthew Johnson. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Green, Justin Green, Chris Green, Dakota Green, Justin Green, Brandon Green, and Eric Foster. Donations may be made to help defray final expenses.
