Minnie Lee (Patterson) Millsaps, age 83, Cherry Log, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Fannin County, daughter of the late Albert and Julie Ann Stepp Patterson and wife of the late Hamil S. Millsaps. She was also a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Mary Ann and Rev. Glen Collis of Blue Ridge, GA and Ruby Jane and Hubert Barker of Dallas, GA; four sons and daughter-in-laws, Junior and Kay Millsaps of Dekalb, MS, Johnny and Jo Millsaps of Cherry Log, GA, Jerry and Erlene Millsaps of Ellijay, GA, and Jessie and Brenda Millsaps of Blue Ridge, GA; one sister, Georgia Mae Sharp of Ellijay, GA; eighteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at 4:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2008, with Rev. James Worley officiating. Music will be provided by the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Choir. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Bobby Callihan, Rick Callihan, Tommy Millsaps, Gary Patterson, Jeffery Davenport, Wayne Watkins, Wayne Watkins, Mike Earley, Justin Waldman and Robby Harbour.
