Minnie N. Bearden, age 68, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Bearden was born on March 21, 1946 in McCaysville, GA to the late William Bud Nix and Ollie Harrison Nix. She was a supervisor for the Levi Strauss Company and was a member of Bethel Church. She is survived by her husband, James E. Bearden of Blue Ridge; two nephews, Tony Reynolds of Canton, GA and Bill Nix, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; and a niece, Shannon Allen of Copperhill. Memorial services will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Michael Pope officiating. Music will be by Imogene Stewart.
