Michael Gerald Waits, age 65, of Epworth, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He was born on November 1, 1959 in Georgia to Grace Panter Waits.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Waits; and sister, Donna Moore.

Mr. Waits is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Star Waits; granddaughter, Emma Grace Armstrong; and nephew and spouse, Dave and Beth Brown.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from Salem #1 Baptist Church (Sugar Hill) Cemetery in Suches, Georgia with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Harold Crowder. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Ronnie Byrd, Tony Byrd, Dave Brown, and Gary Harper.
