Mr. Michael Ray Lunsford, age 46, of McCaysville, GA, passed away on November 29, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his Aunt and Uncle; Judy Lunsford and Lamar Emory Lunsford. Michael Ray had earned several degrees in the Culinary Arts and Hotel Management. He enjoyed using his talents while cooking for his friends and neighbors. He also was a natural born singer, entertainer and loved traveling all over the world. Michael Ray Lunsford will be remembered for being an adventurous soul.Survivors include mother and step-father, Debra and John Hansborough; father and step-mother, Donald Ray and Janice Millirons Lunsford; sister, Diana Dalon; step-brother, Brace Andrew Pinney; step-sister, Erin Frances Hurn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members; and his beloved canine "Cookie".A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge, GA with Rev.
