Michael Dean Adams, age 51, of Turtletown, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home. Michael was born on July 25, 1974 in Ducktown. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Michael worked for many years at Queen Carpet, which later became Shaw Industries Plant WE in Chatsworth. Michael loved his dog, Jackson. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of dirt track racing and football.

Michael is survived by his parents, Harold Dean Adams and Opal Helen Allen Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Jessica Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Chris Daniels; nephew, Tyler Adams and his fiancée, Kaylee; niece, Megan Adams; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Adams, Scott Allen, Isaac Allen, Nickie Brown, James Cochran, and Chris Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Adams, Bill Worthington, and Michael's cousins and uncles. The family will visit with friends on Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 3:00 PM.
