Mels Carbonell, 79 years old, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away peacefully December 26, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1944 in Miami, FL. He was a proud father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his children Curt, Rob and daughter in laws Rose and Alicia. His four grandchildren, Gene, JD, Cael and Tailon. Nieces Elaine and Vicky and nephew Scott.

Mels had a huge passion for helping people. He was a minister for many years before starting his own business as a motivational speaker. He traveled around the country doing seminars and conducting training. Throughout his life as a minister and motivational speaker he touched the hearts of so many people.

He was quick with a joke and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He is loved very much and will be missed greatly.
