Melburn Columbus Wilcox, known by family and friends as "Peanut", age 68, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Cleveland, TN. He was born on November 24, 1951, in Copperhill to the late James Fred and Mattie Morgan Wilcox of Turtletown TN. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Rex and Kathy Wilcox of Turtletown; Nieces Tonya (Clint) Howell of Robbinsville, NC and Brittany (Matt) Jordan of Morganton, GA; nephew Alvin (Stephanie) Wilcox of Blue Ridge, GA. Great nieces and nephews also survive. Melburn's wishes were to be cremated and a private service will be conducted at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Akins Funeral Home to help defray his funeral expenses.
