Meda C. Hunter went home to be with our Lord on September 4th, 2025 at the age of 80 years old. She was born Oct 21, 1944, in Copperhill, TN to the late Bill "Pop" and Elaine Stuart of McCaysville, GA.

Meda worked in Atlanta her entire career at the Sears and Roebuck company. Once retired, she moved back home to the mountains of Georgia where she resided with her beloved cats. She was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord with her whole heart.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Hoyt Stuart of Copperhill, TN, Jim Stuart of Cleveland TN, Freda Cuzzort of Cleveland, TN, Kenneth "Greasy" Stuart of Cherokee Hills, TN, Carolyn Johnson of Mineral Bluff, GA, Billie Jean Cearley of McCaysville GA and Rex Stuart of Mineral Bluff GA.

She is survived by her siblings Robby (Betty) Stuart of Mineral Bluff, GA, Diana Walker of Copperhill TN, Bob (Libby) Stuart of Turtletown, TN and Deana (Steve) Cook of McCaysville GA; and a countless number of nieces, nephews and friends.

A private family graveside service was held Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Friendship #3 Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville GA.
