Max Dirl Parris, age 77, of Blue Ridge passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born on January 3, 1945 in Blue Ridge. Max attended Barnes Chapel Church. He worked in home construction. Max was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Harper; mother, Marjorie Parris Hardy; and stepfather, Jim Hardy. Survivors are his son, William L. Parris of Blue Ridge and grandchildren, Zack Harper and Sidney Harper. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funeral and Cremations Chapel with Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Sowers, Eric Sowers, Keith Graham and Butch Anderson.
