Matthew Ray Bryant. age 42, of Epworth, GA passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, GA. Mr. Bryant was born in Blairsville, GA on December 10, 1975. He worked as a carpenter and liked to spend his time hunting, riding dirt bikes, and riding through the mountains.. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Mickey Ray Bryant, Jr.He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Christina Bryant of Epworth; children, Austin Bryant, Landon Bryant, and Aiden Bryant, all of the home; mother and stepfather, Vicki and Frank Collis of Blue Ridge; father and stepmother, Mickey and Jill Bryant of Blue Ridge; siblings, Haley and Mason Mann, Garrison Porter, Kevin and Amy Collis, Alan and Heather Collis, Chris Collis, and Melanie Dyer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jessica and Lee Garrett., Tonya and Denny Cook, Roy and Kendall Payne, and Heather Messer; Mother-in-law, Margaret Anderson of Blue Ridge; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. William Gravitt officiating. Eulogy was be by Lewis Starr. Music was provided by Stephanie Ensley. Pallbearers were Roy Payne, Lee Garrett, Bryson Thomas, Lewis Starr, Denny Cook., and Mark Pope.
