The Akins Funeral of Blue Ridge announces the death of Master Layton Emmett Kemp, infant son of Shawn Kemp and Helena Christina Everett Kemp, who passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He is survived by parents, Shawn and Helena Kemp of Hiram, GA; brother, Ronnie James Kemp of Hiram, GA; sister, Taylor Kemp of Hiram, GA; grandparents, Adith and James Donald Everitt, Ronnie and Shelby Kemp, and Linda and Barry Parrott, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Trammell Rhodes. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
