Mary Juanita VanZandt, age 87, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1938 in Dial, GA to the late Grady Panter and Ruby Walker Panter. Juanita was the owner and enjoyed running the VanZandt's Store. She was a member of Salem #1 "Sugar Hill" Baptist Church. Juanita loved singing, music, crocheting, sewing, flowers, and her grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Larry Daniel VanZandt; brother, Jack Panter of Skeenah, GA; and sister, Evelyn Garland of Fair Oaks, IN.

Survivors are son, Stacy (Keri)VanZandt of Dial, GA; daughters, Hope (David) Reynolds of Dial, GA, Denise (Mike) Cox of Dial, GA, and Connie (Steve) Seitz of Dial, GA; grandchildren, Kelley (Michael) Richardson, Kristie (Adam) Norton, Tiffany (Tommy) Pinyan, Faith (Bill) Reiner, Nathan (Jessica) Cox, Kayla (Jason) Lunsford, Taylor (Jeremy) Fair, Jacob (Averie) VanZandt, Wyatt Van Zandt and Andrew Seitz; great-grandchildren, Aydan Richardson, Emma Richardson, Olivia Temples, Lola Temples, Ana Temples, Reid Norton, Owen Norton, Addisyn Elliott, Abby Reiner, Clara Reiner, Jeremiah Reiner, Asa Lunsford, Ivy Lunsford, Hazel Cox, and Natalie Cox; and sister, Ruth Green of Blue Ridge, GA.

Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations Blue Ridge Chapel with the Rev. Tim Garrett officiating. Pallbearers were Nathan Cox, Jacob VanZandt, Wyatt VanZandt, Aydan Richardson, Reid Norton, and Jeremy Fair. Interment followed in the VanZandt Cemetery. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, February 9, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
