Mary Lou Prince Taylor, age 63 of McCaysville GA passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born on March 28, 1953 in Copperhill, TN. Mary Lou loved her family, life and animals. She attended New Vision Church. Mary Lou worked as a seamstress for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, R.V. Payne. Survivors are her husband, Robert Taylor of McCaysville, GA; sons, Charles Prince of Cleveland, TN and Chris Prince of McCaysville, GA; daughter, Julie Evans (Randy) of Ellijay, GA; mother, Marlene P. Payne of McCaysville, GA; brothers, Charles Payne (Judy) and Donald Payne (Lynn) both of McCaysville, GA; sisters, Linda Hancock of McCaysville, GA and Jannie Hedden (Tom) of Blue Ridge, GA; brother-in-law, James Taylor; sisters-in-law, Martha Pitts and Sarah Nell O'Brien all of FL; six grandchildren, Christopher Taft Prince, Tabitha Prince, Corey Mull, Tara Nelson, Taylor Evans and Randy Evans, Jr. and four great-grandchildren, Lacey Nelson, Natalie Bottogino, Emma Nelson and Christopher Troy Prince.Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Danny Kaylor officiating. Music was by Back to Bethany. Pallbearers were Dennis Allen, Jordan Hensley, Chad Allen, Ryan Knight, Corey Hedden and Riley Hedden. Interment followed in the Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery.
