Mary Lea Rinehart, age 76, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born in Chewelah, Washington on April 26, 1942 to Merrill and Kathryn Smith Kohlstaedt. She served her country as a Dental Hygienist in the Navy. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Kohlstaedt and David Kohlstaedt, and a sister, Sue Aamodt.She is survived by her husband, Earl Rinehart; a son, Brett (Sara) Rinehart; a daughter, Debra (Tim) Stein; sisters, Ann Cameron and Ruth Smith; grandchildren, Kahla (Tom) Ableman and Laurel Stein; great grandchildren, Emily Ableman and Aubrey Ableman; and her beloved dog, Rocky.Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
