Mrs. Mary Belle "Midge" Queen, age 92, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017. Mrs. Queen was born on February 24, 1925 in Fannin County, GA to the late Blanco and Ola Mull Gray. She was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Queen; sons, Dale Queen and Hoyt Queen; and daughter, Betty Sue Queen.She is survived by her children, Joe (Lois) Queen of Dalton, GA, Jack Queen of Blue Ridge, GA, and Gail (Mick) Thomas of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Blanni (Virginia) Gray of Blue Ridge, GA; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ray Queen officiating. Music was provided by Pat Mashburn. Interment followed in the Damascus Church Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers: Curtis Collins, Gabriel Queen, Kenny Queen, Larry Queen, Mike Whitlow, and Roy Tipton.
