Mary Nell Perdue, age 94 of Morganton passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 in Blairsville. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Atlanta to the late Christopher "Kit" Columbus Andrews and Bessie Lowery Andrews. Mary Nell had three loves in her life aside from her husband and family. She loved her animals and all of God's creatures. Secondly, her love of the banking industry that spanned over several decades and retired from the Trust Company of Georgia. Lastly, she loved spending time at New Smyrna Beach in Florida.

Survivors are her loving husband of 68 years, William C. Perdue; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Perdue Miller (Rick); sister-in-law, Jackie Rodriguez and family and best friend, Sara Coffey and family.

A special gratitude to Cynthia Bradburn and family; staff of Union General Nursing Home and neighbors, Ken and Fran Strickland and Kenny and Irene Stewart.

Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan and Chris Bradburn officiating. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. For Those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
