Mrs. Mary Maudelene "Maude" Owenby, age 90, passed away February 15, 2014, in Roswell, GA. Born in Murphy, NC she was the daughter of the late Cass and Emma Lou Ware Shields. She was also preceded in death by her husband Roy Roscoe Owenby. Mrs. Owenby was a long time member of the Sweet Gum Baptist Church and Josephine Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Shirley Owenby of Blue Ridge, GA; grandson, Justin Owenby of Epworth, GA; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Seth Owenby.A private memorial service was held by the family and Interment followed in the Sweet Gum Baptist Church Cemetery.
