Mrs. Mary Gail Mulkey, age 47, of Ellijay, GA passed away Thursday, September 26, 2008 in the North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, GA. She was born in Polk County, TN on January 20, 1961. She was a member of McCaysville Gospel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Lillian Ensley. She is survived by her husband, Mike Mulkey of Ellijay; daughters, Holly Patterson of Ellijay and Cathy Mulkey of Ellijay; father, Simmie Davenport of Ellijay; brothers, Donnie Davenport of Blue Ridge and J.K. Davenport of Epworth. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Scott Baugh and Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music was by Angie Conner and Barbara Conner. Pallbearers were J.K. Davenport, Donnie Davenport, Frank Mulkey, Bennie Ensley, Kenneth Ensley, and James Ensley. Interment followed Ensley Family Cemetery. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
