Mary Lene Gaddis Couch, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in the Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville, GA. Mrs. Couch was born on September 4, 1929 in Jackson County, GA to the late Charles Gaddis and Mary Corrina Blackburn Gaddis. She retired from W.M. Wrigley Company where she was a wrapping machine operator. She was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe Russell and Kay Couch of Herndon, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Tamme and Clay Bell of Blue Ridge; brothers, Wilson Gaddis of Dalton, GA and Hoyt Gaddis of Gainesville, GA; sister, Sue Truelove of Gainesville, GA; and five grandchildren, Russell Bell, Katie Bell, Sydney Couch, Caroline Couch, and Lindsay Couch. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Memorial Park Chapel in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Phil Carpenter and Rev. Terry Callihan officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ms. Couch may be made to SPARE 88 All Creatures Place Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
